Carnoustie Golf Links
Scotland Golf Courses
Carnoustie has hosted the British Open on several occasions, including Ben Hogan's only entry (and triumph) and Jean Van de Velde's infamous collapse in 1999. Long and demanding, Carnoustie is possibly the toughest championship links course in the country. The layout is basically flat, but bunkers are plentiful and two burns that wander across fairways and in front of certain greens can come into play on nine different holes.
